This handmade matcha bowl is part of the Satoshi Collection, crafted in our Toronto studio.

Trained in traditional Japanese pottery including Tsuboya ware in Okinawa and Bizen ware in Okayama, Satoshi brings a deep respect for material and process into each piece. His work reflects the quiet strength of these traditions while embracing a contemporary, refined form.

The bowl is shaped to enhance the experience of preparing and drinking matcha balanced in the hand, with a soft interior curve that allows the whisk to move smoothly.

Each piece is individually made and finished, allowing natural variations in texture, tone, and form to emerge. Subtle and grounded, it is a vessel designed for slow, thoughtful moments.
