About Ryogochi
Nestled in the mountains of Shimizu, Ryogochi is a hidden tea-growing region known for producing teas with exceptional fragrance and depth of flavour. Large differences between daytime and nighttime temperatures, gentle mountain sunlight, and morning and evening mist drifting through the forests create ideal conditions for growing richly flavourful, aromatic teas. The region is especially known for teas with a clean, elegant astringency and refreshing finish.
