Kezuri-bashi are one of Hyozaemon’s signature chopsticks, meticulously hand-shaved by skilled artisans to pursue the ultimate in comfort and usability. Each pair is individually cut and shaped so that the chopsticks naturally fit the curve of your hand, creating a tactile surface that feels effortless to hold and use.

The unique textured surface — created by the shaving process — helps the chopsticks feel secure in your grip while eating, making them a favourite for daily dining as well as special occasions.

Like all Hyozaemon chopsticks, the part that touches the mouth is finished with 100% natural lacquer (urushi) for safety and peace of mind, free from synthetic chemicals.

Care Instructions:
These chopsticks are not dishwasher-safe. To preserve the natural lacquer finish, please wash gently by hand with mild detergent and wipe dry promptly after use. Avoid soaking in water for extended periods and keep away from direct sunlight or high heat
