Hirota Glass, founded in Tokyo in 1899, is one of the oldest glass manufacturers in the city. Since the modern era, European glassmaking techniques have blended with the Japanese sense of beauty, giving rise to a distinctly Japanese style of glass design. The Karai (花蕾) series draws inspiration from the soft, graceful shape of a flower bud. This tumbler expresses Hirota Glass’s continued exploration of traditional glass techniques while offering a gentle, organic silhouette.
