Sencha - Koshun

Koushun, grown in the mountainous regions of Ryogochi, Shimizu, Shizuoka, is selected by a tea master who won the individual championship at the 2025 National Tea Appraisal Competition in Japan.
A quiet mountain village on the inland side of Shimizu, Ryogochi is a hidden tea-growing region known for its exceptional quality. Cool mountain winds and gentle sunlight softened by river mist give rise to its fresh, refined character.
To preserve and highlight its natural aromatics, the tea is crafted using a light-steaming method.
It offers a graceful floral fragrance with delicate cherry blossom notes, layered with refined structure and light umami, finishing with a clean, gentle astringency.
