This bowl was made in 2025 by Kayo O'Young.

Iron glaze has been applied with a brush, creating a lively rhythm across the exterior surface. In contrast to these energetic markings, the interior reveals a more layered and contemplative landscape, where overlapping glazes have combined to create beautiful depth and variation.

The effects of reduction firing in a gas kiln have introduced subtle areas of purple throughout the surface, highlighting the unpredictable and fascinating nature of ceramics. These unexpected color shifts add another layer of richness to the piece, making each viewing a new experience.
