Originally founded as a medicinal pharmacy that processed and purified fragrant woods and natural raw materials for healthful benefits, Yamadamatsu has remained a respected family business for over 200 years. They continue to craft high-quality incense using the same traditional recipes first created during Japan’s Edo Period.

Tsuyukikyo from the Kamon series is inspired by the gentle blooms of Japan’s changing seasons. This incense carries a refreshing and graceful aroma that evokes the delicate presence of Japanese bellflowers in early autumn—soft, clear, and quietly uplifting.
