MIKA Original Vase | Roman-Inspired Form with Textured Natural Finish

This piece is part of MIKA’s new original vase series, created by reimagining traditional forms with a fresh and contemporary approach. Inspired by ancient European designs such as Roman glass and classical pottery, the shape carries a sense of history and timeless elegance. To complement this silhouette, we applied a soft, tactile surface that resembles layers of clay and minerals settling naturally over time. The combination of an old-world profile and a subtly weathered texture creates a unique aesthetic that feels both Eastern and Western—quiet, refined, and deeply atmospheric.

Hand-thrown and finished entirely by hand, each vase has variations in tone and surface that highlight the individuality of the material. The tall, narrow form is ideal for a single branch, dried florals, or as a sculptural object on its own. It brings a calm presence to any room, making it a versatile piece for both modern interiors and more rustic settings.
