Light: This plant thrives in bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can scorch its leaves, so aim to place it in a spot where it gets plenty of light but not direct sun. A spot near an east or north-facing window is often ideal.

Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water your Apoballis when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. They like humidity, so if the air in your home is dry, consider using a pebble tray or a humidifier to increase the moisture around the plant.

Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix that can retain some moisture, like a mix designed for aroids or tropical plants. These mixes often contain peat, perlite, and pine bark, which provide the right balance of drainage and water retention.
