4" Philodendron Billietiae

1. Light: Philodendron billietiae prefers bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some direct morning or late afternoon sun, but too much direct sunlight can scorch its leaves. A location with filtered sunlight is ideal.

2. Water: Water the plant when the top inch or two of soil feels dry. Philodendron billietiae likes the soil to be consistently moist but not waterlogged. Ensure the pot has good drainage to prevent root rot. It's better to underwater slightly than overwater.

3. Humidity: This plant loves high humidity, typical of its native tropical environment. If your indoor air is dry, use a humidifier, mist the plant regularly, or place a water tray nearby to increase humidity around the plant.

4. Pest Control: Keep an eye out for pests like spider mites, mealybugs, and aphids. Regularly inspecting the plant can help catch any issues early. If pests are detected, treat them with insecticidal soap or neem oil.
