Rhipsalis does well in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some direct sunlight, especially in the morning, but too much direct sun can cause its delicate stems to burn. A spot near an east or north-facing window is typically ideal.

Water: This cactus likes more water than most other cacti but still requires good drainage. Water thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch, then allow it to drain completely. Reduce watering in the winter when the plant’s growth slows down.

Humidity: Unlike desert cacti, Rhipsalis thrives in higher humidity levels. This makes it well-suited for bathrooms or kitchens where the air tends to be moister. You can also mist the plant occasionally or use a humidifier to increase the humidity around it.
