1. Light: It prefers bright, indirect light. Too much direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, but too little light may cause it to lose its vibrant patterns. A spot near a window with a sheer curtain is often just right.

2. Water: Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, which is a common issue with this plant. It’s better to err on the side of under-watering with Peperomia prostrata.

3. Humidity: String of Turtles enjoys high humidity but can tolerate average household humidity levels as well. If your home is particularly dry, consider using a humidifier or placing the plant on a pebble tray with water to increase the surrounding moisture.
