3.5" Fittonia

Fittonia, also known as the nerve plant or mosaic plant, is a strikingly beautiful houseplant known for its vividly veined leaves. It's a fantastic choice for adding a splash of color indoors. Here’s a guide on how to care for your Fittonia to keep it looking its best:

1. Light: Fittonia prefers bright, indirect light. It thrives under the coverage of filtered sunlight, as direct sunlight can scorch its delicate leaves. A spot near a north-facing window or away from the direct rays of a south-facing window is ideal.

2. Water: This plant likes its soil to be consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water it thoroughly as soon as the top of the soil starts to dry out slightly. Be cautious of overwatering, as this can lead to root rot. It's a good practice to let the water drain through the bottom of the pot to ensure the roots aren’t sitting in water.

3. Humidity: High humidity is key to keeping a Fittonia healthy. It thrives in more humid environments, so it’s often recommended for bathrooms if there’s enough light. Alternatively, you can increase humidity by misting the leaves regularly, using a humidifier, or placing the pot on a pebble tray filled with water.
