    Japanese Socks from Nara

To prevent stuffiness and stickiness, we use a unique blend of washi (Japanese paper) and cotton yarn for the ankle area.
We strive to avoid using rubber as much as possible and instead use knitting techniques to prevent slippage and prioritize a snug fit that gently envelops the foot.
We provide firm support for the arch of the foot through a special knitting technique that makes it easier for the toes to spread out and provides stability when standing and walking.
Compared to socks knit by computerized high-speed machines, socks knit on traditional machines have a rounded and spacious toe area that allows for comfortable movement without constricting the toes.
By air-drying the socks after washing, the knit pattern tightens to a favorable arrangement. We do not forcibly press the fabric or use fabric softener.
