Light

• Bright, indirect light is ideal. Too much direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while too little light can cause the plant to become leggy.

Watering

• Water moderately, allowing the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so be sure the pot has good drainage.

Safety

• Be cautious as the sap of Dieffenbachia can cause skin irritation and is toxic if ingested, so keep it out of reach of pets and children.
