He has been a member of Sōmu Shachū (宗夢社中) since 2020.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is a tradition known for the dignified, elegant movements that make up its tea ceremony. This is achieved through moving in crisp, coherent, straight lines, eliminating all unnecessary movements, and grounding the movements of the ceremony (temae) in forms found in sword and archery practice.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDuring the demonstration, Géo will guide guests through a simple ritual for usucha (thin matcha), offering a closer look at the characteristic movements of the Ueda Sōko tradition. Afterwards, guests will enjoy the matcha prepared by Géo, accompanied by a special sweet.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003chr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003e\u003cspan\u003e🤍 Tea Social\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhile small groups take turns joining Géo in the Tea Room, Mika will be pouring a wide variety of teas throughout the morning, with special selections from Japan and Taiwan, including MIKA’s original tea blends.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe’ll also have tea stations set up for anyone who’d like to take a turn brewing and pouring tea for fellow guests. Share a pot, discover something new, and connect with each other over tea.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf you'd like, feel free to bring a favourite tea from your own collection to share or exchange with fellow tea lovers.
