Light

• Bright, indirect light: Ficus ginseng prefers bright light but should be protected from direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves. If indoors, a spot near a window with filtered light works well.

Watering

• Consistent moisture: Water the bonsai when the top inch of soil feels dry. Ensure that excess water drains out of the bottom to prevent root rot. During the growing season (spring and summer), you may need to water more frequently.

Soil

• Well-draining soil: Use a bonsai soil mix that provides good drainage. A mix of akadama, pumice, and lava rock is often recommended.

Repotting
