"Ponte de pie" socks - Corto (Japanese socks)
Japanese Socks from Nara
1: To prevent stuffiness and stickiness, we use a unique blend of washi (Japanese paper) and cotton yarn for the ankle area.
2: We strive to avoid using rubber as much as possible and instead use knitting techniques to prevent slippage and prioritize a snug fit that gently envelops the foot.
3: We provide firm support for the arch of the foot through a special knitting technique that makes it easier for the toes to spread out and provides stability when standing and walking.
4: Compared to socks knit by computerized high-speed machines, socks knit on traditional machines have a rounded and spacious toe area that allows for comfortable movement without constricting the toes.
5: By air-drying the socks after washing, the knit pattern tightens to a favorable arrangement. We do not forcibly press the fabric or use fabric softener.
