Originally founded as a medicinal pharmacy that processed and purified fragrant woods and raw materials to be offered for healthful benefits, Yamadamatsu has been a respected family business for over 200 years, manufacturing high quality incense from their unchanged recipe they originated during Japan’s Edo Period.
Made from sandalwood from Mysore, India, which is known as the highest grade, Koboku-senshu Byakudan gives off a light and refreshing fragrance of sandalwood.
This is a shorter type of regular Japanese incense.
Instead of room incense sticks, the slimmer ones give less smoke and better performance of pure fragrance of incense wood.
